Food Trip# 2: Cafe 1771

Hi guys! My friends and I finally ate at this restaurant near our office. We love the ambiance feels like you're in a different location plus the food and service is great. We tried their Prosciutto and Salami Antipasto (I'm not a fan of their antipasto), Holy cow pizza (love it!), Spaghetti Roasted with Tomatoes and Pasta Chorizo (this is my fave!) all of these are good for 2 to 4 persons. And while we wait for our food they gave us free popcorn. So, if you like to explore and try out new resto visit Cafe 1771. Still undecided? Click here for their menu. Happy Eating! :)

Happy New Year!

Hi everyone! :) Happy New Year! Yesterday was a fun day because it was my friend Ryan's birthday. The party was called "Shala-fest" and we wore fake mustache and dressed up. The day was filled with holiday stories, lots of laughter and of course great food! Happy Birthday Ry-Ry! :)

Road trip up North :)

Me and my family went to Ballesteros, Cagayan to visit our relatives (Lola's side). It's a 16 hour drive and man! my butt hurts! :P But the travel was worth it because of the scenery and ofcourse! The food! :) Authentic local food! Before you reach Cagayan you have to pass by Ilocos first and the famous spring water from the mountains.

Taken from the famous spring water from the mountains.
(And fyi, the water is clean and you can drink it! Cool!)

Burong Isda or Mata as what the locals call it.

They call this one gamet. A dried seaweeds.
You put this in a water and it expands then put a few tomato, onions, ginger
and sprinkle some calamansi juice and you now have an
ensaladang gamet.
